Nico and Neilia Schroeder

We have recently purchased Kaipara Homekill from Terry & Bernie. Nico has been working with Terry and Bernie since September 2024 to ensure a smooth transition for our customers and butchers that entrust us with their animals, their meat and their livelihoods. Nico has a passion for excellent quality meat, humane treatment of animals and hunting. From our farm, Nico ensures that all animals are well cared for and his family eats the best meat. Nico was a software developer and has been fortunate enough to be able to follow his passions with the help of family and friends.

We are dedicated to providing a professional,honest, reliable service to all of our clients. We are steadfast in our commitment to animal welfare, food safety, top class hygiene and customer satisfaction.

All prices include GST and offal removal. Additional travel, rounding-up, and extra-large animal surcharges may apply.

  • All cattle $220 each
  • Extra-large animals may incur additional charges

Sheep

  • Lambs $40 each
  • Ewes $50 each
  • Rams $60 each

Pigs

  • Scalded $1.50/kg
    (carcass weight with head on) Minimum charge: $50
  • Skinned $1.20/kg
    (carcass weight with head removed) Minimum charge: $50

Goats

  • Kids $50 each
  • Nanny $60 each
  • Billy $80 each
